Dear Sportsmen: SPRING AND FALL HUNTING REPORT 2003
Our Spring hunt went very well with all hunters taking 7ft plus black bears. Our Grizzly hunter sighted four Grizzly, two of which were in the 8ft range. One of the four presented itself for a shot but was not large enough for harvest. Our Grizzly hunter returned in the fall and took a very respectable silver-tipped Grizzly, a 45 inch Moose plus a nice light-colored wolf, which was shot by his guide. The success rate was 100% for the rest of the fall moose hunt, as well as one of the hunters harvesting a nice black bear. The base camp improvements and new shower house worked out very well. The guides did an excellent job and cooking was superb. All in all this was a very exiting season with many stories to tell. Hope to see you in 2004 for another successful season. |
