Anzac Wilderness Outfitters can provide you with
a trophy moose. All moose hunts are conducted by saddle and pack horse
or by using river boat.
The terrain in our area that we hunt is lowland and
high mountain meadows. Most of the moose that we take are brought in by
calling during the rut. This offers great opportunities for archery hunts
as well as rifle.
The size of the moose taken are 45" - 56" antler
spread with a body weight of 1400 lbs to 1600 lbs., and will stand 7 '
at the shoulder. Our success rate has been 85% the past three
years. We offer moose hunts with rifle, blackpowder, or bow. |

Black & Grizzly Bear

We have a 100% success rate on our
Black Bear. There is a large Black Bear population in my guide area with
all color phases available. The average Black Bear taken is 6' and will
make S.C.I. Record Book Measurements.
We utilize spot & stalk techniques, hunting the
log slashes and slide areas in the spring. |
